The issue with the Venezuelan gang members isn’t whether Venezuelan gang members who have no right to be here should be deported. Of course they should.
The issue is due process. We are a nation built on that. We give it to murderers and rapists and don’t just let mob rule execute them the second we catch them.
We can take long enough to know who we are deporting and let them state a case for why they shouldn’t be. For most it should be a simple matter.
That’s a Republican value. That it is also a Democrat value doesn’t negate it.
No if they entered the nation illegally they are invaders and are not entitled to due process. Due process is only for those who are in the country illegally. There is not and has never been a legal requirement to give a hearing to someone who invades the county. This is something the leftist judges have invented out of thin cloth in order to block Trumps deportation efforts. All you need to verify is if they have proof they are here legally. If that does not exist you can deport them with no further actions.
Wrong. Due process, in this case, means that you must first ascertain whether the person is in the country illegally before treating them accordingly.
That is easy. You left wing nuts love to call illegals "undocumented". ICE asks for documents. Don't have any? Out you go.
Why is this such a problem for Democrats. I belong to one of the fraternal organuzations that are named for various animals. I am required to show my membership card each time I visit the lodge. I "self-deported" myself when I was unable to pay my dues for a few weeks - meaning I didn't enter the premises until I could pay my dues.
Why should a small charitable organization require documents so as to protect their tax status, but a large nation like the USA just let anyone walk in?
