Sorry if someone already said this but.... in rock there is only one:
"Finished with my woman 'cos she couldn't me with my mind.. "

Blew it. Take two:
"Finished with my woman 'cos she couldn't help me with my mind.. "
Someone's got it in for me
They're planting stories in the press
Whoever it is I wish they'd cut it out quick
But when they will I can only guess
737 comin' out of the sky
Oh, won't you take me down to Memphis
On a midnight ride?
I wanna move
Forgot my six-string razor hit the sky
Half way to Memphis 'fore I realized
Well I rang the information my axe was cold
They said she rides the train to oreoles
Turn out the lights,
The party’s over.
The screen door slams, Mary’s dress sways
oppa gangnam style
"I woke up this morning, Realized I didn't sleep at all."

Good one Mike!
Be My Baby changed the game.
Please lock me away and don't allow the day here inside where I hide in my loneliness.

The best things in life are free
But you can give them to the birds and bees
I need money (that's what I want)
Hey hey mamma say the way you move...
Going to make you sweat going to make you groove...

I feel it in the air
The summer's out of reach
Empty lake, empty streets
The sun goes down alone
I'm driving by your house
Though I know you're not home
Great opener and song. Did you know that the music was written by Mike Campbell of the TP & the Heartbreakers? I saw a great post of his, telling the story of how it ended up on Don Henley's debut solo album. Short version, he was trying out a new drum machine and writing stuff, didn't think his loop was a TP song and put the tape somewhere. Henley shared their agent, their agent called MC and asked if he had anything Henley might be interested in. Campbell thought he had lost that tape, but found it and took it over to him. Henley said nothing really, when he listened to it. Called Campbell the next day and said "I just wrote the best song I've written in 15 years". Go find it, great story.
Muskrat, muskrat candlelight
Doin' the town and doin' it right
Remarkable, definitely makes the final
Didn't I see you down in San Antone on a hot and dusty night?
We were eating eggs in Sammy's when the black man there drew his knife
Just take those old records off the shelf
I'll sit and listen to 'em by myself
Today's music ain't got the same soul
I like that old time rock 'n' roll
-Bob Seeger (one great rock and roller)
Made a meal and threw it up on Sunday / I’ve got a lot of things to learn.
Well, Billy rapped all night about his suicide
How he'd kick it in the head when he was twenty-five
Speed jive, don't want to stay alive
When you're twenty-five
* An absolute classic from Mott the Hoople, apparently written by David Bowie
