In your second article, Trump was simply wrong.

And in fact, every American would not be able to get the vaccine by April. Children would not even be eligible.
But that has nothing to do with my claim that nobody was saying it would take years.
Trump did nothing to speed up development of the vaccine, except to approve some emergency funding.

Then when it came time to get his own shot, he did it in secret. Later, he would barely acknowledge the vaccine because so many of his followers were caught up in conspiracy theories about it.
Who said a vaccine would take years? Morning Joe, mika (am kididng) .. Pretty much everyone. Prior to the Covid vaccine, that fastest vaccine was the mumps vaccine which took 4 years..

Nope, approval came 6 months after that sentence was published, not 12 to 18. And testing and production ramped up earlier than that so technically it was only 2-3 months.
And in fact, every American would not be able to get the vaccine by April. Children would not even be eligible.
Looking into his quote, he said enough would be manufactured for every American. So that was correct. And delivery and distribution proved to be much easier than the article (and many on this website) predicted as well.
