Boulder is overrated. I want to move.

Boulder in pre 90s = awesome, now= not so much

I think this thread can be summarized by people that live in or around Boulder vs people that don't. I like it. Have no intentions of moving. And I'm going to quit trying to justify why I like it. If the OP doesn't like it, he should move away. There are plenty of people willing to take his place.

As far as all the people whining about what a harsh climate is...I assume you aren't runners. If the climate in Boulder is what is stopping you from fulfilling your running dreams, you are soft. You may as well just post, "I'm a pvssy..." and then list your complaints about the weather.

Boulder is the best place ever, even with all the growth over the years

Well.. you can at least run! In Norway we mostly have to run inside or with spikes on ice trails. So much of the training has to be done on skis or fat bike. But if you don’t feel that you are getting an effect from the altitude in Colorado and don’t like the feel of the land then I don’t see any reason to stay
