People getting useless degrees doesn't mean all degrees are useless.
Youre not stupid because you went to college and majored in something useless youre stupid because you had worthless parents and you have a small brain.
I have a useless bachelor's degree and a useful graduate degree.
Cute how much you dislike logical fallacies when they’re made by others.
Oh, I realize tu quoque is a fallacy, but I’m not trying to make the point that your logic is wrong in this post.
Did they teach you stomp your feet and whine and insult rather than debate at the prestigious community college where you got your useless degree?
Lol another M8Ga contradiction:
Is education good? No - it's indoctrination by liberals! But JD Vance went to an Ivy. So he must be smarter than anyone! But Harvard is evil! No one should go to school! But they just funded a study - and it's from Harvard - so it has to be true! But if you went to college - you're an elite! But I'm also going to slag off community colleges! But if you don't have a degree that's even worse! But also better!
All these mental gymnastics are NOT GOOD for the human psyche.
Only reason Vance went to Yale is because he couldn't spell Connecticut. After that it was pay your fees and get your B'$
NBC spoke with the shooter's brother. He said that Jahn was not political. Jahn was registered as an independent. His dad had guns and Jahn knew how to shoot, but was not any kind of marksman. Investigators found a nuclear testing fallout map taped to Jahn's car. Some are claiming that his mother posted an anti-gun rant years back after the Uvalde school shooting, which just highlights the flawed causal connection between left politics and shootings.
Total coincidence that this loser tried to execute ICE agents that one political party calls fascists and nazis 24/7.
Yes. It may very well be that. I have kids and have nieces/nephews that are in college and in their early 20s. They by and large do not get their news from legacy media and do not follow any politicians or mainstream politicos like the Pod Save America Johns, Joy Reid, etc. My nephew is 20 and is a gamer. He did not go to college and is just hanging out with his girlfriend at her house. I can see his social media feed. His mom was a PNW granola lefty who horseshoed into MAHA/anti-vaxxer and trad-cath (without converting to Catholicism). Dad is not very political. The stuff he posts is all over the place. His girlfriend is very religious. So, there is a lot of stuff about being a Christian. Nothing about Trump or Dems or any current political issues. But he does post stuff about global warming and the environment that leans left. At the same time, he has posted some meme stuff that is very anti-Sematic. One meme was a picture of a bunch of Hasidic rabbis standing around and a joke about throwing a penny on the floor to see who wins. There have also been some Punisher memes that are pro-law enforcement, which is odd because he is a pretty heavy pot smoker. And a gamer.
There are certainly young people who are heavily plugged into the usual left/right political fights and check all the issue boxes for their side of the aisle. But I would say for most young people, that is the exception. They exist in some pretty weird and amorphous political spaces. Throw into that the fact that this age group grew up with active shooter drills and are entering a world where it seems impossible to do normal adult things like get a good job and buy a house, and you end up with young people doing crazy things without a whole lot of attachment to any real political movement.

You post a novel of useless anecdotal evidence and wonder why I dismiss you entirely...
One the shooter wasn't a kid. A full grown ADULT from the room. He wasn't a Democrat. He was from Norway
22 is still mentally a child . And he was acting on Democrat rhetoric whether he was registered or not.
Bec Mon Tchu comrade adult hijacker of all threads , you you you you you you you you you you you you you are wrong again as usual. He was 29. Mentally smarter than you

I disagree.
Roy has some interesting stuff in this post. It’s kind of off topic, but then again not really. Roy, can you do a wellness check on your nephew?

You're onto something here. Anyone who's done door-knocking for a political campaign, or just been involved in ground-level political organizing in the past 25 years, can attest to what a mishmash of conflicting and often contradictory views most Americans have about politics. As just one easy example, it's not hard AT ALL to find Americans who voted for both Obama and Trump, or who supported Bernie but voted Trump.
Now just think for a second about the mind of someone who would take the step of attempting to assassinate someone, or engage in a mass shooting. If there are ANY coherent politics involved in this decision making process they are bound to be convoluted and WAY down the list of contributing factors to the act.
And the fact is, American "political assassins" from almost any era as LESS likely to involved in any actual political activity, or to belong to any stable, identifiable political organizations than the average person, which stands to reason. These are not people who sit in rooms with other militants debating the "politics of the deed" as they select the best shooters and targets, then go out and do the job. They are, almost universally, either unstable loners or very fringe followers of some vague ideology. If they had coherent politics they'd realize that shooting individuals or small groups of their "enemies" is not only horrific but completely counterproductive to ANY political goal.
A vanishingly small percentage of people of ANY political persuasion have it in them to shoot people dead for a set of ideas, no matter how firmly held.
Americans needs to just STFU about the politics of anyone who engages in acts of public murder. It is extremely easy to get a gun a shoot someone in the USA, and people do it for so many reasons that the individual reasons don't actually matter any more. One week's shooter will be a messed up trans kid. Next week it'll be a neo-Nazi. The week after that it'll be someone with no discernible motive at all. There is, and will be, NO DISERNIBLE pattern! Trying to find one is just a form of avoidance of the horror of it all, and of the fact that we KNOW it will happen again and again.
“None of his former friends believed that the “ANTI-ICE” inscription could reflect a sincere political conviction. Sincerity was anathema to who Jahn was — his humor was deeply ironic, often offensive and aggressive to the point of alienation. > > “He was most certainly an edgelord, an irony guy,” one friend said. (Edgelord is online-speak for someone who likes to espouse edgy, nihilistic views). Asked about the inscription on the bullet, the friend said: “Josh was an edgelord who wanted someone to get blamed. I think he tried his best to write something goofy … to rile people up.”
nah, let’s believe Adolt’s “feelings” instead of people who knew the guy

Another mentally ill Lib went cray cray in Dallas. Glad nobody from ICE was harmed. The men and women of ICE are Patriots and are making (your) streets safer by getting criminals off the streets. This incident didn't affect ICE nationwide, they were out in force today and will be tomorrow as well. And the next day, and the next day. Border secure. Crazy catch and release policy is Over. ICE and Border Patrol are doing work. Godspeed. We will not waver; we will not tire; we will not falter, and we will not fail
Our ICE agents just doing their jobs to go back to their families and make ends meet. Solidarity with ICE and God bless America.
The man who shot at a van apparently killed 2 detainees. May they RIP, we’re all human at the end of the day. Now as for the killer He had anti democracy messages against ICE and was clearly trying to kill agents. I live near DFW area, when I first saw the news it’s still dark outside and it’s likely he had horrible aim and just blindly shot at a van in dark conditions. Extremists white lefitists are anti white, anti democracy, murderous traitors to America and especially White America and their own people. That’s not to say normal left wing people are like this, but these extremists “antifa” or whatever wannabes need to be put in prison .
13 pages of peeps denying the obvious - lefties are losing it, big-time, lately.
I’m not a conservetard by any means but I agree with you. The man went through the trouble of setting up a sniper near an ICE facility and writing anti ICE messages on the bullet casings. He shot at a van in dark conditions (I live near Dallas) and it’s still dark before 7. He hoped to kill a bunch of ICE agents. All he did was kill two innocent humans
