The only way she likes to race is slowly but surely ratcheting up the pace throughout it rather than going evenly and then putting in a kick. That's why I think she'll be at her best in a marathon where she really has the time to grind others down doing that.

Time for Gidey to quit the track and head to the roads for good. If she’s lucky and as good as we think, she will be the female Kipchoge soon enough. Despite her world records, do not compare her to Hassan. Gidey will never be a track champion, that’s not her thing. There is no shame in it….
