Well, since Putin orchestrated the bombing of four apartment buildings in Russia that killed 300 people and injured more than 1000, it's not too much of stretch to conclude that he wouldn't be too beat up about killing thousands of puppies, and may even enjoy it.
Definitely maybe. They also launched a few wars in Chechnya along the way, which may have influence folks view.
Maybe because NATO realized that the Russian army was inept, so didn't want anything to do with them.
Why didn't Russia apply to NATO after undertaking years of co-operative steps towards membership?

The RT website is available in many places. Because banning internet sites is particularly bad optics. But mostly because it is difficult and pointless. They have been trying to shut down The Pirate Bay for 20 years.
RT broadcast was/is blocked EU, the United States, and Canada. And the RT app was blocked worldwide by two large American corporations (Apple and Google), except in Russia.
The American RT bureau was under US government-imposed restrictions prior to the Ukraine conflict.
After the Ukraine Conflict, RT broadcast was blocked by large American organizations with significant US-Government ties. This prompted the RT bureau in the US to close permanently.
A bill expressly outlawing RT became unnecessary as the dirty work was done by a co-operative or co-opted private sector. Otherwise, it certainly would have been banned.
None of this supports a statement that "The U.S. is not blocking RT".
Trust this clarifies things for another week.

If they were not there to see it and they did not fire it off how would they know what kind of missile it was before anyone else tried to identify it?
