Galen Rupp listed on the entry list for Prague Marathon (May 6) + other elites

agreed with weather in london ,

many fast times and close pb's ran

and in many of pictures i dont see the ahletes sweating buckets .

but the commenators were all stuck records with ,that was a fast time in these conditions

or a great british record , bla bla bla .

if you are an athlete or footballer called mo in britain then reached chosen status .

where both pushed by elite and doped accordingly .

No one has ever run a perfect marathon, no one, so you're right, Rupp will cop heaps, deservedly so.

I'd prefer not to wade through 12 pages to get an answer, but has anyone addressed how he's able to do this after signing the "non-compete" clause with Boston?

Some pretty decent guys on that list. Abraha has a 2:06:23 PR, Lawrence Cherono went on to win Amsterdam last year in 2:05:09, Kandie has improved to 2:06:03 (Seoul 2017), Nicholas Kemboi ran 26:31 way back in 2003 (I think? But managed only a 2:08:01 PR), Chimsa has a 2:05:42 PR, and Eliud Kiptanui battled Kipchoge a few years ago in Berlin, finishing 2nd in 2:05:21 (the famous loose insoles race).

Looks like Ivuti set his PR when he won Prague (2009), but he is probably best remembered for that crazy sprint finish victory against Gharib in Chicago, 2007 ... almost 90° that day.

2:06:20, because I just wanna see Mo's face when Galen beats his PR.

After all, Galen's mile (i/o), 3000m(i), 5000m(i) and 10,000m PRs are better than Mo's.

I hear his 100m is also better.

2:06:20 in warm Prague would be equal to a 2:05 flat in warm London. I don't see Rupp doing that in his first paced marathon.
