It is relevant because you can't seem to wrap your head around the fact that these ancient world religions aren't necessarily beholden to the very letter of their archaic texts. It is representative of the whole religion. Islam just doesn't have a few radicals waaay out on the fringe. Islam's radicals are just off a little bit from their fascistic theocrats, which are right next to the hard core believers, which are right next to their "moderate" apologists, etc. Islam is primarily in an un-reformed medieval state, whereas all other religions have reformed themselves to be compatible with liberal values of tolerance, free speech, etc.

I believe a country full of Dave Chappelles is much more likely to harm me than a country full of Jim Gaffigans because when the Islam numbers get large enough they start to throw their weight around and drag the country down into Islamo-fascism. Wigan regarding some of the old testament archaic violent rules you asked when they were reformed. Actually the sanhedrin 2000 years ago made them so difficult to enact they were essentially outlawed. And in 2932 rabbi Israel Herzog decreed that only the messiah could allow them to take place thus outlawing these barbaric acts.
