I don't disagree that both sides spend, spend, spend. However, that fiscal conservative approach is something the GOP still spouts but does not do. It could get worse under Biden since it has gotten worse under every president in my lifetime except Clinton which did WAY better than anyone else.

There are plenty of loopholes. My quick search shows most came under GOP rule.

You are making predictions about Biden which may play out but were not plainly so under Obama & Clinton. Why? What is your source.

I still ask my question, what is the message the GOP wants to get out that is being censored?

If you were to ask me I'd like Ron Paul to not be censored, Brett Weinstein, the New York Post. I want our sitting president to not be censored.

I even want the censorship of Alex Jones to stop being censored. Because when you tell Alex Jones to get out of the town square he builds his own town square and gets even nuttier and his followers go there and get even nuttier. Plus if you have a problem with the speech confront it and disprove it. If I'm to be honest I've seen very few on the left that actually confront speech from the right with actual discussion and it's been more anger and namecalling.

I'm fine with taking away speech intended to cause violence. But what Twitter said with the Trump ban is that the speech could theoretically cause someone to be violent. Well thats a pretty broad brush stroke that could be applied to anyone. If you make a policy apply it to everyone. A Bernie Bro shot a Republican at a softball game. No one thinks Bernie should be censored. Obama gave some racially charged speech when he was president and police officers in Dallas were shot soon after. No one said censor him. We cannot start censoring people just because someone does harm in their name. Was Trump's behavior inexcusable, yes. Does he deserve blame for raising the temperature, yes. Did he call for the capitol to be stormed or for violence, no.

Nice to hear you have such great communication skills. Were you abused as a child or what? I hate people that their first and only instinct is 4 letter words and yelling to get their way. This may be why we have problems in our country...you might want to reflect on this a bit. Or maybe you really are psycho and just want to see the world burn.

Just for the record, Alex Jones is a vile human being. To publically broadcast that Sandy Hook didn't happen and that deeply grieving parents are actors should eliminate him from most anything in my book. The pain he has caused for these people is indescribable. Yet people tune in to listen to this day. That tells me everything I need to know about those people as well as him. They should allow a father 5 minutes with the guy.

Is that the GOP message that is being censored, that Sandy Hook was made up and the grieving parents really don't exist?

It's true all you hear is coal, coal, coal. The truth is that coal is going down the sh!tter and everyone knows it. It's lip service, part of the political game really. Congress has actually done a decent job providing credits and subsidies for things like EVs, wind, and solar. A lot of state legislatures are pretty deep in that as well. Could it be better? Yeah, absolutely. That's why we need a strong EPA and strong commitment from the top.

As for the drilling in national parks (by which you mean, federal lands) - again, it's all mostly lip service to score political points. No one ends up taking those contracts and actually drilling because banks and insurance companies have walked away from it. It's terrible PR and you always have to fight an activist group in court for like 3 years before you can even start. No one will finance it (same with arctic drilling btw) and even if you finance it yourself, good luck finding someone to insure it.

Always go beyond just what you hear about in the headlines and always do your due diligence because it can be easy to fall for quick headlines.

Very confusing. I have no knowledge, but it appears you are very frustrated over something, have no answers or anything to offer, so you attack the other side. It IS okay to admit you backed the wrong horse on the current GOP. In fact your horse is currently off the track. Regroup and maybe do some volunteer work for your local candidate.

Thanks. This is awesome. Some I knew like that fact that drilling currently is in name only and some I did not. I am aware there is some bipartisan congressional subsides but has the senate passed them? My understanding is McConnell blocked votes.

What condition is the EPA currently in. You stated that is the needed component.

Is the strength of the EPA the GOP message that is being censored?

I understand traffic to LetsRun shows a good income and education level demographic. The 90k/year part of LetsRun just visits the front page and doesn’t post as much in the forums.

Yep.

Freedom of speech does not mean your free to speak WITHOUT CONSEQUENCE. Something confederacy sympathizers have always failed to realize. Letsrun forums are run very similarly to the way Parler operates - unchecked messaging. I have zero issue discussing policies and debating hot topics with the nuts on this board. But I don't understand why: 1) lies are allowed and tolerated 2) hate speech is allowed.

Arctic drilling in the anwr opened last week - Republicans said they get close to $2B for it, and they ended up getting something like $20million. It was/is embarrassing and stupid and they are lucky that it got buried in the news cycle.
