Can you show me data on the average age of polio death? Transmissibility? Long term effect rate?
COVID has killed an order of magnitude more people in 2 years than polio did in centuries and you still claim they are “completely incomparable” I think you might be right. COVID is a much worse public health risk!
Also the first polio vaccines got a bunch of kids sick couple dozen paralyzed and 5 died. I’d rather not go back to “conventional vaccines” if that’s the risk.
Furthermore the 2 dose polio vax is 90% effective. The 3 and 4 dose are 95-99% effective. Sounds a lot like COVID.

If you actually read my links you’d see that included more than the cumulative counts. Please actually engage with the data instead of skimming and then writing misinformed novels.
Also the fact that you clearly don’t understand why you need to wait 2-3 weeks post vax to have a competent immune response says it all. It’s not “magic” is immunology.the science speaks for the vaccines. You are not a scientist nor do you think like one. That’s your problem.

less than 1% result in severe disease (paralysis) and a fraction of those are deadly.The first polio vaccines were quite dangerous and vaccinated against a disease that was mostly asymptomatic. There was standard antivaxx furor (the Big Max people in this thread are nothing new) but everyone agrees now that it was WELL worth it to mass vaccinate.
The polio vaccine does NOT prevent fecal-oral transmission (the dominant route in low sanitation areas). Viral loads in stools are the same for vaxxed and seronegatives.
So the polio vaccine doesn’t prevent transmission and isn’t 100% effective — and early versions were VERY dangerous — yet the antivaxxers here take no issue with them. Consistency is optional when you’re mad!
