They just aren't. They are sponsoring bills targeting Dem voting in many, many state legislatures.
Why? Becuase they know they can't win if Dems vote at the levels they voted in 2018 and 2020.
So, the Rs have given up on democracy and favor a form of ethno-minority rule.

NM: -12%, -5%, -14%
AK: -12%, +14%, +31%
SD: +17%, -15%, -24%
CT: +38%, -28%, -4%
ME: +13%, +29%, +5%
States with Lowest % of Residents Vaccinated

GA: -24%, -50%, -32%
AL: -32%, -38%, -28%

Only one of the states with the lowest vaccination rate is seeing an increase in cases over the last 2 weeks while 3 of the best states are. Two of the best states are seeing rises in both deaths and hospitalizations while none of the poorly vaccinated states are.
There could be several reasons for this (relaxed restrictions, less adherence to guidelines, geography, etc.).
