Put a pin on that one and lets check back in a few weeks. This speech may go down in history as an analog to W Bush's Mission Accomplished battleship speech. Wagner is at least 25,000 strong in the Ukraine theater and fiercely loyal to Prigozhin. Putin's offer to let them join MoD forces is basically an invitation to be put on the front line and order to charge UA positions across mine fields carrying backpacks full of explosives. Returning to Russia will most certainly end up with conscription in MoD forces (see last sentence). Which leaves going to Belarus as the only real option. The assumption then is that Lukashenko will pay Wagner to protect his regime and provide them with a home base for their operations. But if Putin takes a swing at Prigozhin, one of those operations could be another road trip to Moscow.
