No serious person is happy with any of the prospects here. Russia has been a developing nation (with nukes) since not long after WWII. At no stage was this volatile, unstable nation not a risk to itself and the rest of the world. Not in the Soviet days, not in the 90s when the West blithely pretended something had been won in the Cold War, not at any point since mini-me Putin-goon took over from Yeltsin, and certainly not now. There is no scenario that doesn't carry grave risk. Will there be relatively greater stability if mini-me puts down the rebellion? Perhaps, for a while,-but either way Russia will continue to be unstable and potentially greatly unstable.

Not sure about Moscow falling. Doesn't matter as both Wagner and Ru beat Ukraine in the war and have been switching duties in the beatings. But it increasingly looks like, based on hourly updates, that Ru will be the ones to continue beating Ukraine in this war and not Wagner.
