Well, as a matter of physics, Russia has less "virtually unlimited resources" today than they did in June 2022. And the "virtually unlimited resources" they do have seem to be ones that they keep having to run backwards to retrieve. Kind of defeats the purpose of "virtually unlimited resources" when you don't have them at hand.

This makes no sense. You don’t think the day the US forced vassal NATO states to sanction and steal from Russia they didn’t turn manufacturing from 1 to 10? And then up to 15 after the CIA bombed Germany’s pipelines? Just today I was reading how they have a new giant hypersonic ICBM called the Sarmat being deployed.

Sarmat ICBM weighs 100 tonnes (for comparison, the US-made LGM-30 Minuteman is 35 tonnes) with a range of 18,000km (11184 mi)
This allows it to carry around 15 warheads, up to 750kt. (The bomb US dropped on Hiroshima was 15kt.) This would be enough to wipe out a country the size of France with a single missile. It can also carry hypersonic missiles, rendering most missile defense systems ineffective.

I shouldn't have to explain the Cold War, or the Russian interference in my country's election, or the government-controlled Russian media's threats to use nuclear bombs on my country. But those would be some of the reasons. Russian is an enemy of America. You would have to be mentally deficient to have asked the question.
