I'm 47. It takes me quite a bit more warmup these days to get loose for a race or hard workout, especially in the morning.
Also, I don't believe you should say that a longer warmup will wear him out because he's running 17's for 5K. I hope to be in the 17's or very low 18's by the end of the summer (probably low/mid-18's right now). But ... I am doing enough mileage, 75-80 mpw, that a 3-4 mile warmup doesn't take anything out of me at all. I'm sure the same is true for Henry.[/quote]
this talk is all for naught, if Henry has no job and is a month behind in paying his bills. He needs to get a job and meet his living expenses.
