Yeah I wanted to say something to DT about this but decided against it. I don't like the argument of "that performance was too good to be clean" because that doesn't bring any evidence to the table. Maybe Kiprop is just a freak and can open in 53. Or maybe he is a doped freak. But how he splits his races does not prove he is doping.

But as a professional T&F athlete, you have to know that your words and accusations have a reverberative effect that is much larger than the words and accusations of your typical anonymous LRC poster. What you say has a direct impact on the way T&F fans view other runners. By saying things like this, David is ensuring that a certain percentage of fans will now view Lagat in a different way, and certainly a less positive way. No way around this. And unless you have really solid evidence to support your accusations, I don't think that is a fair thing to do to another athlete.
T&F athletes are not millionaires. The respect and admiration of fans is one of the primary reasons they do what they do. And for David to compromise that is totally irresponsible unless he has information that the rest of us don't have.
David lost a fan today.

The only thing which brought down Lance was a large number of teammates telling the truth while facing perjury charges if they didn't. Look at the time, of course he can close in 53 seconds. You people are imbeciles. He use to run nearly that fast four laps in a row. Lagat consistently finishes high when its a slow race. No proof of anything changing at least.
Last lap in 53 and setting an age group record by 21 seconds aren't otherworldly? If you say so...

He's 41 years old, not 30 where 53 close on a slow pace would not be unique.

You think I am Torrence??? Funny, but wrong guess. I am a track fan and it is obvious to me that certain runners, such as Lagat and Bolt are very obvious users of PEDs. Lagat just stole a spot from other runners, at least some of whom are probably clean.
