Doping widespread in Kenya? Fresh allegations by German journalist

I don't know if doping is widespread in Kenya, but claiming EPO doesn't help East Africans is bullshit.

At the Olympic Village there were whispers of tons of top athletes that use performance enhancing drugs. It was an eye opener for me and you the public should not be shocked if so and so is using. Scientist know how to hide it and I'll bet almost every winner at the Olympics are using. Read the book "The Secret Race" by Tyler Hamilton and Daniel Coyle. They say flat out how its hidden and who's using it. I'm 100% sure it's in athletics as well.

There needs to be harsher punishments for athletes who use. So many ex-users are now back on top and you have to be ignorant not to think they are still using. They just learned how to hide it better. To me, if an athlete gets caught, they need to be banned for life. Like Lagat, everybody forgets that he was banned a year for EPO, but USA loves him so much. Weird that he run 60 miles a week and can run sub 13. Once a user always a user.

I completely agree with you but that is never gonna change. Science will only get better and those that cheat the system will never test positive. Its just a game of who has the best doctors. To bad for the sport!

without getting hematocrit to crazy levels

will we see the same times in 10,000 through to 1500m

and not possible with tighter controls with biological

passport .

but still lots of benefits to be had to get level up near

50 per cent and especially if from high altituder .

forget about epo , need to be lokking at whatever is topping up times in events like 800m

gw-50 ,aicar combo or even throw in some sarms as also known to increase endurance and speed especially for event

like 800m .

dont think these peds will get times down as much in longer distance as seen from past few years times

but definitely help closing stages of marathon .

Renato has stated a few times that kost Kenyans do not have very high hematocrits at all - 40 or less. But they have very high global volumes of blood and therefore verry thin blood. I know nothing of doping practices so not sure if this suggests yes or no on epo use but not in line with the idea of high hematocrits amongst top kenyans???
