Ah yes, I clearly see the correlation between no shirts rule and the stamp act. Tom is modern day Daniel Shay, need a little rebellion every now and then, Tommy Jefferson would clearly approve. Not sure about Ben Franklin though. That guy would have been a salty old AD.

This guy Davis is a fraud. The lies are extensive in just about every regard, from his educational background, to his own running (2:27 my ass), to his coaching record (he didn't invent the Westwood program). He's been let go from every job that he's had, and obviously wears out his welcome quickly. He also has put his girlfriend in a tough situation. The supposed running camps that he runs list her as the "co-founder and director" which is a clear NCAA violation, as you cannot use any pictures of a college athlete doing their sport in a "for profit" situation. I'm sure that her school is going to be thrilled if they loose any team accomplishments because they were found to have an illegal athlete in their roster.

On Friday, April 29, Fogel fired Davis after what Davis described as a heated argument involving “chest bumping” over whether or not members of the boys track team would be allowed to train shirtless. Antonucci announced May 10 that Fogel had been placed on administrative leave and recommended that the School Committee launch an independent investigation into the incident.

The investigation concluded that there was “no such contact,” between Fogel and Davis, Antonucci said. Antonucci said in his statement that the decision to fire Davis was not based on whether or not the boys track team would be allowed to run without shirts, but rather Davis’s repeated failure to “interact with students, his colleagues, and his supervisors in an appropriately professional and respectful way.”

In all seriousness, one of the coaches at my high school (just graduated) didn't let us take our shirts off (female), however, the moment we'd leave the school property for a run, the shirts came right off. There is no way to enforce this, kids wouldn't listen, it isn't offensive in any way, shape, or form. The complainant was most likely some fat teacher pissed about their salary, and wanting to take out their frustration in any way they could.

Shame.

Recently saw Tom out running shirtless in ~30 weather at night. He must still be angry about this and out to set a point?
