Good to see Yuval Goldberg of Mountain View (CCS) return today at the Dublin Distance Fiesta in 9:30.75 for 3200. Last spring as a sophomore he ran 9:19. He missed all this last cross country season. Hopefully his woes are over with and he continues his running career.

Yes it is. Being a former CCS runner from the early 1970's I'm always rooting for CCS teams and individual runners.

Unfortunately it seems Jaden Jefferson (defendin state 100m champion) and Brandon Smith (Central East, 46.83, 45.9 anchor split) both won't be running this season, as neither are on their team's rosters. If anyone knows why, let me know!

Since when is there a minimum standard to forego ones eligibility? People quit the CIF system all the time. Heck, only about a quarter of my freshman class roster ended up running all 4 years. The rest all turned out ok!

He did run a 4x400 this month

So did Aelo Curtis also just burn her eligibility? She ran against collegians last night at the Bob Larsen meet at UCLA (and ran 4:19 for 1500m).
Micah Dikran also ran in the meet.
