what’s most insane is that she actually believes she is better off with the vaccine I think it affects thought, there is just no rational for it.

The big tell is the lack of death by transportation workers like airline stewards/stewardesses, airport workers, etc. Those are the people that would have been at most risk based on the very basic premise that they would have the most likely contact with infected travelers. I had two buddies from college die of Covid-19. Two of my friends parents died of Covid-19 and so did my HS coach. My good friend who was 43 and healthy celebrated his birthday in large social settings in 2021 and ended up with Covid-19 and was hospitalized for 8 days almost died. He was healthy with no pre existing conditions.

It’s important to distinguish between the period before everyone had COVID and the present. How our bodies react to COVID now that pretty much has t-cell memory from a prior infection (yes, everyone got COVID, including the vaccinated, there is even an argument to be made that omicron operated on enhancement, whereby vaccinated individuals were more likely to become infected). The benefit of booster vaccines is worth questioning. Pretty much the only people I know of who have had COVID post omicron have been boosted, and pretty much none of the cases have been severe, boosted or otherwise. COVID today is more or less a common cold because our bodies have adapted. Sorry for your losses. Anyone over the age of 40 should have been vaccinated. Anyone under the age of 25 received little, if any benefit. I disagree with the concept that COVID should bear full responsibility for 5 million deaths when most of those deaths were typically in individuals of advanced age with a host of maladies acquired over their life. Pretty much all of us die from pneumonia, but it is our old broken down bodies that are unable to fight it off that is the main culprit, not pneumonia.
