I just found out Eurosport 1 France will only show the race for the first hour (17:30-18:30), and then switch to the tennis in Indian Wells so I will be looking for another source to see the second half of the race. Crazy stuff.
3 way battle behind Rupp for 2nd American honors at 35k.
Mickow, Colin (USA)
Montanez, Nico (USA)
Young, Clayton (USA)
They are on 2:12;51 pace at 35k and are right together.
Livestream, ok.
The local braodcast has Diego Estrada on it. I think he said 440 24th mile. He says Rupp still looks good.
RUpp has dropped Kiptanui.
Why can't the national broadcast have a guy in the lead pack. Estrada says Galen is moving!!
Looking like Chepngetich won't break 2:20 after all, or maybe just barely. 2:19:56 pace at 40K but she has the win in the bag
The local broadcast is great. Hutchings is pointing out howTura keeps looking at his watch and still has 8 minutes to run.
Galen's coming!!!
Local has Estrada in lead truck, Tim Hutchings, Ed Eyetsone.
Rupp's cadence is much higher than Tura. He looks like he is rolling strong imo
Rupp ~9 seconds back
Galen F'in Rupp let's see some fireworks here baby
Local broadcast is way to go.
Hutchings just made fun of Eyeestone. Ed , "You've run well in a major marathon before. You were 2nd here a few years ago - what was it 40 years ago."
Sorry meant 35K, also Emma Bates has passed Sara Hall at 35K! She will likely be the top American, great running from her
