This is my road PR, on a certified course I might add. 15:07 the same year at Carlsbad so that backs it up I believe. Although I could not find a link.

I (and many others, I'm sure) ran sub-15 before the dawn of the internet era-- does that make my post meaningless as well?
yup. sorry. i'm not even sure if you officially exist anymore.
I've broken 15 minutes many times. And on every occasion I did it wearing trainers. I don't feel the need to post a link to any results.

Hey Kevin, how's it going? You still living in the desert, winning all of the local 5k's?
Back on topic: you've got me by a few ticks in the 5k (14:58 on the track), but we all know the steeple is where it's at...
First sub 15' @ age 18, 1988, 60 mpw
PR 13'58, 1991, 80mpw
14:58 Va Tech indoors Feb 2000
Sadly my outdoor pr was 15:01 from CAA's that yr.
14:58.13 @ 2005 Florida State Snowbird Invitational
19 years old
Oh, training was relatively high mileage (95-100 for most weeks, with a lower week once every four) over the previous winter with focus on tempos.
I feel somewhat inadequate reading all these posters who broke 15 at age 18 off 60 mpw.
I'm 18 and have not broken 17 (perhaps it's partially due to the 16 injuries, stress fractures, tendonitis, avulsion fractures, and other ailments that have destroyed me in the past few years, but still).
I never will break any of my PR's and I suck
I broke 15 down the corridor of the maternity ward.
I have yet to spot a poster as good as me or even worthy of speaking to for that matter.

Hahaha, that's great. I had almost forgotten what he said. What a bastard.
First time, 2002 just barely under in 14:59 Woody Wilson Invite
Last time (and hopefully not last)14:52 at Woody Wilson invite 2004.
Gotta love the home track.
MJLAYE
14:57, just squeaked under at an indoor meet.
I have done it for 3 5k's is a row. 44:30 for 15k. Although I suck compared to the rest of the "elite" World.

Gotta love this type of stuff.
According to a rankings list I recently read, that would put you in the top 30 in the world this year.
And you feel no compunction about supplying neither a name nor any evidence whatsoever to support your claim.
Let me try: I ran 45:23 for 10 miles recently. There. Prove me wrong.
Why is that so hard to believe? that means there are 29 people better than me. However I didnt do it this year. Good for you on that 45:23....thats moving
PR around 14:30 off 50 mpw.
Well I've never actually ran a 5k on a track. I've ran and beaten a guy on many occassions that has run 14:42 though. Both my college track seasons I've been injured. So if I can actually stay healthy for one of them I should def. be able to break it.
