Ok. I like all of the movies mentioned, but I’m going to take a different tack.
In the new Mr Rodgers movie, there is a scene in a restaurant where Rodgers asks the main character (who has serious issues with his father) to take a minute of silence to contemplate all the people in his life who made him who he is.
The scene literally lasts for a minute and is nearly dead silent and you can see every emotion imaginable cross the faces of the actors.
My wife and I and another friend watched the movie last week and we all walked out thinking it was one of the most intense movies we’d ever seen.
Last Lango in Paris: The scene where an actual rape occurred. Brando was told to make it "real" much to the horror of the actress.

The end of Unforgiven when Eastwood takes out a saloon full of guys, some of whom should have armed themselves.
They did arm themselves. But the guns were for show, and the guys had no shooting skills. Eastwood simply had to figure out who might be fast, and who was clueless, and bang bang. Also, when someone is underfire, and has never experienced such a thing, it doesn't help them if they are armed. They don't know how to aim, and they are nervous Nellies--easy targets.

^^^This.
Clip is merely the finale of the POW segment that also included other unspeakable horrors. Absolutely gruesome...

I know how it ends
Vader: No, I AM your father.
Good Bad Ugly triangle fight.
Potemkin: odessa steps
Blue Velvet: gas-huffing oedipal rapist.

I thought the whole movie was epic. I did find it funny how the helicopter guy was chuckling away as the girl fell. How could you not like the rest of the movie
16 Blocks, dude taps on the window of the cop car, window explodes, and a slow-motion shootout ensues.

So horrified she continued with the scene and the movie? Does "non-consensual" now mean you get to change your mind later - even years later?
I spit on your grave.
Pretty intense rape scene.
"Lango" is the tribal language of Uganda.

Cannot watch any film/scene where the good guy breaks into the bad guy's apartment or office and they only have five minutes to do it in. Perhaps have a buddy keep an eye out for them. Made worse if bad guy has already been seen to commit horrible acts of violence (e.g. chopping off fingers) or killing. Or if the good guy has a disguise.
Off the top of my head ... that's probably the entire FaceOff movie .... a scene in Darkman where Liam Neeson gets a latex mask to look like a henchmen ... some Harry Potter films involving some juice potion .... at least one classic Hitchcock film like Rear Window. I'm sure there are many more.
But not Peter Sellars looking round a hotel bedroom disguised as a room valet with a vacuum cleaner.

Good call. Almost any scene in NCOM could qualify.

I was just going to say this. That movie had many
very intense scenes.
All sally vix’s bogeymen come from south of the border.
How ‘bout the Russian mobster whose blood (PED-saturated) is drunk in “Limitless”, then Bradley Cooper offs the other two goons.
