Magness turned 180 degrees.
First, he made a huge blog post about hypothyroidism and that he has Hashimoto's saying the benefits are only for people who genuinely suffer from the condition and that thyroid meds are useless in general population.
Then, few years later he turned on Salazar and Dr Brown, saying he got misdiagnosed with Hashimoto's which he never had and needs to take the thyroid meds now until the rest of his life. He said they misdiagnosed him to improve his performance. He also said he was a young 15-year old kid who believed anything the famous doctor would tell him and that it brought him short performance gains but also a lifelong daily thyroid pill attached to his daily routine.
Is this doping? No, it's the big grey area/disregarding of athletes health and putting performance at any cost first. But Magness black & white and back & forth is just as annoying as the overuse of pills, meds, medical tests and infusions done by Salazar and Magness.
