JS strikes me as flaky and self-righteous, dopers or not that she has to compete with. Her obvious mission to stamp out un-proven doping by going out of her way to celebrate their defeat comes across poorly. She won't win the war.

Well it's important to point out that Lance Armstrong's power outputs have been exaggerated by 10-15% and that they were actually normal power outputs for an elite endurance cyclist.

And that the drug obsessives really don't want to address this issue, i.e. the drugs aren't actually performance enhancers and the whole charade is nonsense. But people want to believe that drugs can give you more energy. Anyone who actually has a grasp of basic physiology should see that such a belief is nonsense, but good luck finding an exercise physiologist who really knows basic physiology.

Genzebe Dibaba had some pretty good training partners when she was growing up. And she is naturally fast too.

I could not recognize who it Jenny Simpson until I have seen her as main topic. Nothing surprising since I presume this is a ) American site. This recall me what I have reading in youtube about a legend Steve Prefontaine in youtube, an inspiration for American youths, though a 'forgotten" Gammoudi (Munich 1972) could have another Hollywood movie, but as we say to each his own...

Being from a North Africa country, I entered this thread with a good opinion about Dibaba but the level of discussion here (sometimes lowered to childish accusations) spoiled everything for me.

As for Rababe Arafi, she is on ascendant curve starting from July 2018, she could do good things in the next great rendez-vous (maybe classing in the first top five), for North Africa womens we have to wait for another talent like Hassiba Boulmerka.

You couldn’t recognize a world champion that has 3 additional global championship medals?

Maybe he/she is 12 years old, maybe new to the sport?
