Olympic Marathon Silver Medalist Eunice Kirwa Busted for EPO Doping

It doesn't seem all that long since it could be claimed that none of the top East Africans were doping.

Matthew Kisorio was the only big name bust.

Have Rosa and the rest been doing this for 30 years. It doesn't feel like the conspiracy theory it was once derided as.

Professional cyclists say that EPO increases your performance by at least 10% to 15%. So if you are clean, and you are winning, then you are outperforming other professionals (who dope) at an unbelievable level. That’s why the French media label Armstrong the ‘alien’. I don’t think we’ve even scratched the surface of doping in Olympic track and field.

Wonder if Mare Dibaba or Rose Chelimo is more likely to be popped soon? I would put my money on Chelimo.

Anyway, they haven't stripped either of the top 2, so Flanagan isn't getting a medal. Maybe they should, but they won't.

And i have been deleted and banned multiple times for calling it out. Cant wait till one of them spills beans and renato is done. On that day i will cheers a beer towards coevett and he can stop his bashing of me, then towards subway and casual for always having my back, and hopefully get an apology for the brojos for constantly allowing me to be banned for calling out the truth. Yes I'm sure Athletics Kenya were behind pumping an athlete that defected to run for another country full of EPO.

I've always found letsrun to be an open forum in regards to doping discussion.

And of course it does appear the tin foil hat conspiracy theorists were correct so the platform for speculation was needed.

I've always suspected bekele and geb and the rest are doped all their career.

Pro cycling is a team sport and they had to dope in-competition with the media following them round ,part of the reason we know a lot more.

Grow up. There is systemic doping going on in Kenya. Doesn’t matter if Athletics Kenya is involved, until recently they have completely turned a blind eye. Even now they are not exactly try very hard.

If we had a handful of World Championship/Olympic team members that had been popped for doping and then Aisha Praught-Leer was also popped for doping I wouldn't think that USATF was behind Praught-Leer's doping program.

And we have a winner. Yes, is rosas camp is dirty and nothing is done and he is protected, then all camps are being protected.

These stories are not good for the sport.

Wonder where the non Africans that go to Africa to train, dope, recover rinse and repeat will go now? The Pinkerton men are on your trail.

That is one way of looking at it. Still something like 1% of dopers are caught. That is terrible.

Wait, what? Farah was training right outside of Addis Ababa.
