Why is this Andy Bayer's worst nightmare? Bayer has a PR 7 seconds faster in the steeple. Not a huge margin, but an 8:14 steeple guy has quite a few people to worry about, not sure he needs to worry about one more with a slower pr than him.
Agreed. The thread title doesn't make any sense.

America hasn't been run by Americans since WWII. Look at the history of The Immigration Act of 1965. It wasn't from Ted Kennedy. He was a freshman senator who was ordered to step up and be a sponsor of the legislation brought forth by Emanuel Celler and Jacob Javitz. They were backed by the same people and forces who now also relentlessly back third world "refugees" and illegal aliens pouring into the West, yet also insist on massive walls, protection, and now DNA testing for the land they claim allegiance to, and it isn't in the West. Just do 15 minutes of research and you'll see why this goes on.
Do 15 minutes of research and it will also become clear just why E. Africans and certain other third world countries and peoples are allowed, indeed encouraged to cheat while enjoying a lot of protection from bribed officials and manipulated test results, never mind the MSM which is currently run by the same hypocrites noted above.
Link to something that explains this (To get Started)
I always thought the 1965 Immigration Act was because Americans demanded more diversity, to have a wider variety of restaurants to go to/food to eat.
The only thing I ask of Immigrants to the USA, is to love the USA Unconditionally (My Country right or wrong is still my Country) In a Nathan Hale way, meaning when faced with execution, say and think this (My only regret is that I have but one life to give to my country, the USA)
But...Ted Kennedy assured us that Hart-Celler wouldn’t affect the demographic mix of the US.

Let’s see..... Bor and Kebenei were both barely sub 8:30 guys in college and now 8:08.
Rotich at 8:21 stands to improve to 8:00.
If Jager doesn’t get back on the ball, one of those three breaking 8:00 and his AR will be his nightmare!
Another American has his career broken by imports from Kenya, the home of doping.
Where is our pride, why are we acting like Qatar or Turkey and just buying foreign athletes? At least these countries are open about it and don't use the excuse of joining the army.
American-born folks are too fat and lazy for the military, so yes, now we have to outsource it. Not a fan of tying Army to athletics, but I think Americans can participate too if they are good enough.
Anyway, I doubt this is Andy's "worst nightmare." On any given day, someone could be injured (e.g., Jager) or someone screws up the race (bc the steeple is crazy like that, and I don't think Bor or Kebenei have the best technique), and Andy makes the Olympic team.

Wow, if I only knew it was that easy, I would have just written in my 8:02 in on a postcard.

Even if Rotich was guaranteed to be better than Bayer, I don't really see why this would be his "worst nightmare." Most people's worst nightmare would be to watch their family get tortured and murdered or something like that. One would have to have pretty screwed up priorities to consider being defeated in footraces to be the most nightmarish thing that could happen to them.

Is Andy still training? Wouldn’t be surprised Nike dropped him just because they have steeples in BTC and Mason Ferlic? Haven’t seen him compete at all Indoors. Anybody have an update?
Are you stupid? He's twice run faster than 8:20 this year and just placed 3rd at USA's.

I am not sure if he is stupid but I am pretty sure that you are more ignorant than he is. He wrote his post on March 9th so your reply to him makes ZERO sense.

Andrew has been a disappointment. He hasn't PR'd in the steeplchase since 2017. He hasn't PR'd in the 1500 since 2013. 5k PR is from 2011. He got beat by an out of shape Cabral in 2016 to miss out.
He ran 3:34 in the 1500 in 2013. In 2016 he ran 8:16.11 in the steeple (faster than this year) and in 2015 he ran 8:18.
Andrew has been stagnant for a while. It's honestly his own fault he struggles to make national teams. He just isn't improving. I don't feel sorry for him at all.
