And having one of if not the most impressive indoor junior runs ever makes him the greatest junior ever in your opinion? I don't know, I usually think there is more of an emphasis placed on outdoors performances.
I will be surprised if he doesn't break 3:30 and 13:00. I doubt he wins at World Champs but it's possible.
What about that junior (forget if he was Ethiopian or Kenyan) with the full beard that beat Rupp in that indoor 2 mile / 5K in the US several years ago? Anybody know what race I'm thinking of?
He'll be better than Filip this season.
I think Filip will still be faster over 1500m.

Gebriwhet doesn't have a full beard and it wasn't a 2 mile nor a 5k, but he beat Rupp over 3k at New Balance in 2013.

Yes, I think any medal/s at the World Championships would be an amazing achievement for Jakob at 18.
I think he will be certainly in the mix for gold in Tokyo, though.
And of course, with Kenyan doping busts still coming at an almost weekly rate, who knows what team they will be sending to Doha, let alone Tokyo next year?
