Do trust your “gut” more than facts? It is not “downhill, the way”. And how you think a camera is pointing does not change the facts- 650+ climb, 1000 ft loss. And your data for comparison with NY is inclusive of weather.

Emma Bates is clearly the hero that the pro running scene needs right now. Off grid house ftw.

Also, UPS drivers can make a good buck, don't knock that job. At least until UPS replaces them with self driving trucks.

Where I live, they are one of the highest paying jobs that dont require a degree. Even with a degree, drivers make more than I currently do. I’d call that a good buck, too.

When I went looking for a seasonal UPS job a couple years ago, starting salary was $18/hr with full, no cost health care benefits. And it was easy to make more than that.

Yeah, running 5 flat or faster for 26.2 miles is a leftover---lol! Jealously is abundant! Look how many guys running sub 2:10 have been caught>>>dozens and dozens! A 2:10-2:11 marathon is pretty damn good!
