I returned mine. Great shoe except zoom air pocket in left under ball of foot was annoying if you didn’t run mid/forefoot and flat...the cambered roads made the pocket annoying.

Solereview's comments on the Vomero 14 from their Facebook page.

Solereview will not publish the Vomero 14 review until March, but if you're planning to buy one, please don't.
Get the Brooks Glycerin 16, Nike Pegasus 35, or the Pegasus Turbo instead.
The 2019 version is, by far, the worst Nike Vomero ever made. The upper heel grip is terrible, the short tongue has zero padding, and the outsole is hard. The midsole feels as if all life is sucked out of it.
Don't waste your money. Or get the Vomero 13 for less.
Yet you did not post the remainder of solereview comments, where he states because it’s being compare to a plush slow recovery shoe, if you look at the shoe in isolation is it’s a good shoe

Why don't you post them for us ?
The quote above was the complete paragraph from their comments. Perhaps in the reader's replies they made further comments.
seemingly every shoe out there, especially top selling shoes from Nike, has countless and very thorough reviews on youtube
Or you could have read the comments, from the post from the 9th January. My paraphrasing instead of being unable to
copy/paste from FB on an iPhone.
Two soleview feedback comments
“The Vomero 14, isn’t a Vomero at all, it’s closer to a cushioned Zoom elite, rather than the plush upgrade to the Vomero franchise...... in this context, the 2019 Vomero 14 fares very poorly”
And
“True, without context, the Vomero isn’t a bad shoe at all.”

I go to Solereview for their opinion and don't always read the comments. Your condescending comments seem as if I wrote the initial review, not Solereview. The Vomero has been in my rotation for years, hence my interest. I look forward to their complete review in March.
After reviewing the comments, I read you purchased a pair of Vomero 14s. Why not write a review for us in the Let's Run Reviews ?
Nothing meant to be condescending in my response, just having read sole review comments too the initial statement needs context which could have been found and commented on which he always is good to follow up especially if a shoe is great or in this case poor. Nike have change the purpose of the Vomero from a plush trainer to more of a light stability daily trainer and should really be a called the Pegasus 36.l, though I’m sure the peg will not have the guide rail sides and therefore be a bit lighter. The peg turbo and epic react in Nike’s lineup the highly cushioned daily train though not sure I would describe either as plush. I tend to not write review about shoes as everyone is different and shoe review are just as subjective as watch gps accuracy. However my review, to add to the numberous others, it’s a light stability daily trainer which is slightly too heavy for a size Uk11/US12, it runs too similar the peg 35 and you can feel the zoom air until the shoe is warmed up. Perfectly capable for the long junk miles to faster tempo runs though I find running downhill quickly a chore. There are plenty of shoes in this category as it’s a take it or leave it shoe especially as the peg 35 can be had so cheaply now days

Great comments !
Tried em, loved em origally and then returned it. The zoom air pocket under the ball of my foot was always bothering me as I could feel where is started and ended.
Plus in colder weather it was more noticeable. I did like the upper fit and stability though, plus the outsole is built like a tank.
Could have been a bad batch, but 5e air pocket feel was too much.
I found it much firmer than peg turbo, but nice recovery shoe
This update is like throwing a cup of salt in the ocean .
I get a blister on the top of my foot from the tongue of these shoes - have never had this type of blister before. Anyone else experience this?

Hi all,
Has anyone tried the new Nike vomero 14, just saw youtube clip from Runningwarehouse. Looks impressive, zoom and react midsole.
Cheers
Steve
I was initially excited and bought a pair. I don't especially love or hate them at about 100 miles in. I'm just trying to get 350 or so miles before I buy new shoes. They feel a little heavy, but provide enough cushioning for recovery days and seem to be incredibly durable. I see very little wear or creasing and if I didn't track my mileage I wouldn't think they had 100 miles on them.
I have done 100% of my runs with these on concrete road/sidewalk. I bet if I ran on grass or dirt there would literally be no signs of wear.

Yes this happened on the first run then never again.
I also noticed the air unit under the forefoot on the first run, then never again since.
I like these better than my Pegasus 35s and Turbo 1s.
Hate this shoe. It’s a total brick. Ran down my block, turned around, switched to my Vomero 12’s that have 500+ miles on them. The Peg 35/36 is pretty bad as well. I’m looking for something like the Peg 28-30. Something in between the Peg 35/36 and the Vomero.

I’m not as picky as most. Probably because I do all my quality volume in flats or spikes.
Don’t really care how the easy stuff feels— it just needs to get done— not gonna worry about a pea under my mattress, so to speak.
Did you ever find anything? I'm looking as well.
Odd thread.
Everyone is offended comparing this version of the Vomero to all Vomeros previously. It's a shoe. Get it? Does it work for you, for anyone?

I still have Vomero 10. Is that a dinosaur now?
Shouldn’t the Vomero 15 be coming out next month? Anyone have any intel on it?
