I am most impressed by the running 30 miles with no running background. I'm sure drinking 30 beers in a 30 hours period is a typical college/ post-college weekend for a lax/football bro, so that isn't so impressive.
Either way - he started with a goal and hit it which is good enough. Don't let the trolls drag you and your brother down. Next time do 40-40-40 etc., until he trains up to 100-100-100. That'll show 'em!

The only thing I didn't like about the video is I'd like to see the post-challenge interview done right after it was over. Was he buzzed/drunk/slurring or totally sober.
As for the 100-100-100, give me proof it's every been done. I know people used to talk about it all the time and I claimed I'd do it every summer but has it actually been done?

The most I ever did was 24 beers in one day, starting maybe 1 p.m., after running a 10K in the morning. So, 6.2, 24, 24 (11). I totally respect Reid for 30x3, especially given a marathon on non-marathon training one day, then 3+ miles the next day. Nevermind the beers.

I was at the liquor store today and I joined a group of guys who were pondering what kind of craft IPA beer to buy.
There was another aisle of single-can beer: Heineken, Corona, Coors, Cobra, Pabst Blue Ribbon (mmm...), anyways I couldn't make up my mind about what beer to get, so instead of getting a 4 pack of IPA that I would have to carry home, I just bought 2 singles of Heineken and Corona and now I'm drinking it!
As long as they're 5% or more, they are good for getting in the way of a challenge.
Real men don't drink light beer.

Also, I'm not found of not drinking while running.
That's part of the challenge even though complying to the no vomit policy is easier on long distance.

Kyle was mildly buzzing after the challenge. He paced out the beers really well and drank a lot of water. For every 12 ounce beer he drank, he drank the equivalent in water or another fluid. Combine that with a solid alcohol tolerance and the beer portion of the challenge was much easier for him than the miles portion.
Also, nothing interesting was said immediately after the challenge (Kyle just wanted to go to bed), which is why there isn't a proper post-challenge interview per se.

The method the do this was ridiculous. You could jog a mile. Drink a beer. Sit around for 30 minutes the. Run another mile and repeat. For sleep you could run a 4 miles and drink four. Then sleep for four hours. Your attempt was not thought out or very challenging, other than the fact the person performing the challenge was not a seasoned runner.
