Treatment for "anything", pretty broad brush dude. My dad had zero wait for cancer treatment. I've never waited for any procedure, and i'm in my 50s. I admit, if you need joint replacement you may have to wait, but you're not going to die from a sore knee, nor are you restricted by some rigged up HMO, and it's free.

This is not a Canada thing, sadly USA is the ONLY major country that doesn't guarantee the right to health care, with 44 million Americans that have no health insurance, and another 38 million with inadequate insurance.

I’m 100% certain health care is much better in Canada than in the US. But yes, if you have money you can get quicker care in the US or Mexico. However, wait times are not a major issue. The problem is people go to the doctor for minor ailments and clog the system- easy to be safe than sorry with free health care. Though they do prioritize patients so if you need urgent care, you get it... unless you need a transplant... then you got to wait for someone else to die so you can live. Maybe in the states, you can buy parts or jump the line cause you have money but not in Canada.

Obviously the health care system is complicated but if people didn’t have so many self inflicted health issues (obesity/diabetes/heart disease), care would be much better in both Canada and the US.

Things are better in Canada but it’s nice to visit the US occasionally.

It's not really a special Canada thing; everywhere in the first world has better health care than the US. Nowhere else do people go bankrupt because they got cancer, or had an accident and needed a helicopter ride.

You are totally right - you know all about how bad stuff is in Canada. You should totally never ever come here because it is a terrible place (please stay away).

Say what you want about universal health care but in the industrialized world almost all have universal health care. I don't see a big push in any of those countries to dump their current health care and adopt the US system.

He was my favorite to win the whole thing. He did not have a gaudy, but not very predictive, Stanford-type mark because he RACES, not time trials. He has won numerous championship 10,000s.

Note that Purdue ran their faster legs early to keep themselves out of trouble and so that they were running about 1600m; it almost was enough because other top teams did not do so and cost themselves a bunch of time in the exchange zone and running extra distance in the curves.
