This has to be satire? Lewis, Mennea admitted doping. Reynolds was busted for doping. Aouita...jesus. can't remember exactly but sure Barrios rings a doping bell.
Coe is the only one not clearly linked to doping, but presumably you included him because the Americans here like to believe he was dirty.

Don't know about that. He more or less admitted the EPO era records are fake when he tried to have a 'reset' of all the WRs. Half the reason why he is OK with the super shoes is probably that they will result in all those WRs being finally broken.
Posters on this thread seem to agree (without saying) that Jakob is dirty. Otherwise he should have the 1500m WR.

Lol, apologising for the doping of both Aouita AND El G!. How do you explain genetic superiority of North Africans raised at sea level when they are almost genetically identical to other Mediterranean performers? (not to mention their only decent runner since the ABP is Big Mac).
And Aouita was not the best 1500m performer in 83 or 84. The best 1500m performer is not the guy who chickened out of actually running the 1500m in the Olympics. Compare his mile race in Zurich to Coe's performance in the 1500m. He would have been thrashed by Coe in Zurich or LA. In 85 he obviously had the fastest 1500m time, but he lost to Cram in their only meeting and Crammy's mile WR was superior to Aouita's 1500m WR.

In 1983, Said Aouita was the best performer of the year before the world championship Helsinki.
In 1984, Said Aouita was the best performer of the year before and after the Olympic Games.
In 1985 he was simply the world recorder of 1500m.

Ummm, didn’t Coe win Oly gold at 1500m in 1984? And I believe Cram beat Aouita 3 of 4 times over 1500m in those years. Yet you claim Aouita was the best then.
