Thanks. I didn't watch the race and was thinking that Mo did NOT lead the race at any point. If that is true, why are we talking about Mo's balls? That is usually reserved for someone that wins or at least leads a race trying to win or set a fast pace.

Because Mo was a slow guy prior to this, and this time he ran like a world class marathoner: he went with the leaders through the half at 1:01, and became a 2:05 guy. For a slow guy, that's a brave first half.

Of course, Kipchoge led the whole thing, and eventually blew everybody out, but we already knew Kipchoge has balls of fire and bones of iron.

Maybe take a look at who they beat respectively in those two races.
