I do know Rupp ran right by both Bekele brothers in the 2012 Olympic final. He wasn't able to do it in 2016 since KB didn't even make the team. Rupp has an Olympic marathon medal, KB does not and I'll bet anything he never will. He won't make the 2020 team in fact.
Anyway, Hope this is true and that Rupp finally shuts some people up.

OP, how did you discover this in the first place? Has Rupp or the NOP publicly announced it? Or did you just happen to be looking at entrants for the Prague Marathon? Hell, I didn't even know there was a Prague Marathon...

How did you discover this? I know there is a Prague Marathon.
I was looking at the events for the Prague marathon, RunCzech does tend to put up their entry lists early so I wanted to see if the elites had been announced yet. The Czech races usually have pretty good fields (5 half marathons, a 10k, and the Prague Marathon which are all gold label races)

Great way to promote the sport.
Runczech is the same organization that put on the Prague Half which was Rupp's tune-up for Boston 2017. So there is some history.
I expect he'll be running on pure hate. Expect great things.
Hope it's true. Keep in mind he raced the Prague Half two weeks before Boston last year and ran the Olympic 10,000 like eight days before the marathon.
Given how early he dropped out of Boston, and conditions there, I suspect he should be ready to roll on May 6.

Very few on the people thst have run fast times at Dubai have duplicated thise performances elsewhere. For example, Lemma in Chicago vs Lemma in Dubai.

sometime between 30k and 20 miles. He has a split (1:36:03) for 30k, a 17:52 5k split. No split at 20mi. He was 65:59 at halfway without leading a step into the wind, so he shouldn't be too beat up from this effort.
