You mentioned endorphin, which has a 10mm stack height but 0mm drop.

4-6 mm offset is what all Hoka shoes have.

Hokaoneone shoes have a special shape midsole, which is called Meta-Rocker.

It is as special as a large heel-toe drop.

It works for some people but can do harm to some of the others.

It is also possible that the upper structure or high stack height doesn't match you.

Read what you wrote, idiot. You wrote that your shoes had to be closer to the ground, between 4-6 mm. That sure sounds like you mean stack height, especially since the drop by itself does not tell you how close you are to the ground. If you weren’t an idiot you’d know why. The very brand in question have shows that are low drop but are not “close to the ground”.

I didn't know that Hoka made a shoe called 'twice'.

Can't agree with this more! Picked up Hokas a few years ago, and haven't looked back. Do they have some huge advantage over another trainer? Not really. But they last a loonnngggg time, and a lot of miles, compared to your average plastic slipper on the market.

Slowly transition into them! I developed tendonitis while irritating my big toe MTP joint at first. My foot wasn't used to the movement of not using the big toe as much. After using the Hoka's as a recovery shoe I got used to them and the new movement (see the meta/rocker statement above). By the way, great recovery shoe if you have to work all day after working out!
