24 beers/24 miles in 24 hours

A guy on my team = 26.2 beers, 26.2 miles, 26.2 doughnuts in 24 hours.

People in the UK have managed 100 PINTS (not just beers!), 100 miles in 100 hours. The "Triple Ton" as it's known. I believe that it was achieved with steady solid drinking and a 4-5 mile run every few hours.

Ah, beat me to it! I think Phil Mowbray of Hunter's Bog Trotters has managed it (definitely someone from that club anyway).

Hi, a friend of mines ran 100 miles, in 100hrs while drinking 104 pints of beer.

The rules state that you must drink 1 beer and run 1 mile for in every hour for 24 hours.

The idea is not to binge run or binge drink. But to do it for 24 straight hours.

Check the IAAF web site for additional rules. (e.g., Must drink the beer first and must begin the run within 3 minutes of completing said beer. A minimum of 16 ounces required and consumption must not take more than 1 minute).

Also check the site for approved Ales/Lagers etc. No lite beers.

Pints are acceptable.Other rules;Participants cannot leave the designated area. Tracks are the preferred venue.Miles cannot be slower than 8 minute mile pace. And if one is foolish enough to start off with a few 5 minute miles, one cannot run any mile slower than at 6 minutes. No walking at any time.

What about walking a two miles, drinking two beers and resting for 30 minutes? That whole process should take less than 60 minutes.

Come On...you can't be serious.

How 'bout a 24 mile run followed by 24 beers...easy. 24 mile run in 2:40 or so, 20 minute cool down and shower... 24 beers over the next 12 hours is only 2 beers per hour..shit, you'll still have 9 hours left in the shift.

Nobody willin' to try 24 beers in 12 hours & then stumblebum a 24 mile run?

Most people here are college kids, or guys a few years beyond that who wish they were stil college kids.

Forget the running -- I'd like to know the last time they actually even did 24beer/day!

I think this would be a good way to give yourself alcohol poisoning or get extremely dehydrated. I know 24 beers would almost certainly land me in the hospital.

on my 21st i ran 14 in the morning and drank 30 that night. I wish i had gone for another 16 that afternoon.

well I don't know about 24 beers in 24 hours but A kid on our team got toally wasted before a run and he made it like 7 miles, and continued drinking all that day. He started at like 8 in the morning and we ran at 4. So if anyone could do it he could.

I did this shit before, it was easy, I would even say fun but the first 18 miles were so boring I had to make calls on my cellphone, I drank 12-14 beers before another 8 miler in this stint, and finished at a decent clip, definately sub 7:30 miles, I was kinda draggin my teammates down though
