Are the warriors really that much better than the Cavs?

You do realize this is just a game right?

Don't know who will win or by how much, but do know this:

Warriors put up 121 points on the Jazz during their series, then a 136-point game along with two 120+ pointers against the Spurs.

Those were 2 of the top 3 defensive teams in the league . . . in part because they play at a slower pace, especially the Jazz . . ..along with the Warriors.

Cavaliers were pretty bad defensively during the regular season then improved to average during the playoffs. Pace-wise, they are uptempo like the Warriors..

Thus, cannot see the Warriors scoring fewer than 120 points in any game this series -- baring injuries to Curry or Durant. Whether 4 games or 7, look for scores along the lines of 120-110, 128-115, 130-123, etc.

In other words, until the bookmakers catch on and realize 226 is too small of an opening total, there's an opportunity for a little profit-making here.

As a Knicks fan, there's one thing I know: Sometimes adding an all-star to a team doesn't help the team play better. KD is obviously a fantastic player but that doesn't necessarily mean this year's team is better than last year's. Having said that I'm living in the bay area so I've gotta root for the Warriors over the Cavs and I think they're gonna win.

On paper, the Warriors should win, but this isn't a 2k simulation, this is real life. With Lebron's heart, skill, and play-making/stopping ability, you can't rule him out. Plus, the Cavs also have a stacked team, they wouldn't be in the finals if they weren't.

That is inaccurate. Both the Jazz and the Spurs did not play with their best defensive players. Thus they were nowhere close to being top 3 defensive teams.

Sometimes the skill based team is at a disadvantage to the athletic physical team in pressure situations.Excessive adrenaline can boost physicality but sometimes impedes highly developed skills.
