Actually thought I'd stay in the military. When I lost two good friends and a third was hurt bad I had to go with what we all agreed on, one night in a very dark place. I could not save them. Strange what may cause a person to chose a certain career field. My third friend and I have lived 5 miles apart for decades. He knows why I picked my "Life Choice". Thank you though.

My favorite recent video is the English officer standing in the middle of the road holding up his hands for a speeding motorist to stop.

In the cop's mind, he's thinking his "authority" is enough to cause the driver to halt. Didn't work out that way - the cop is struck and thrown about 30 yards through the air, cartwheeling a few times before eating the ground.

I'm a crime fighter. When I see or hear of a cowardly criminal dressed in blue causing harm, I assess the situation, then correct it as I see fit.

What's hilarious is when they are in a real jam such as someone breaking into their house or being attacked they will be screaming for the police to help them. Then we will help them and when we try to get ready to investigate they won't confess anything because they don't want to be a snitch.

Good luck should you get hired. It's a great career. As a former 15 flat 5k guy who was 150lbs and well over 6' tall, I went through an academy. Yes I could run circles around everyone, but when it came to wresting, boxing, and hit man, lets just say I was put in my place. I wasn't the only one to have broken something in my body. I highly recommend strengthening up. And no matter what, hang in the academy even when it sucks. Just dismiss the stress. Keep going.

And don't rip people because they cant run as fast. Chances are they are less of a douche than you are, and you'll need their help one day.

the navy standards for passing are definitely not difficult (and they get easier as you get older to boot). That being said, even our standards are tougher than that.

Just because you are too much a weakling to defend yourself or your family, don't assume everyone is as pathetic. You are conditioned to cry like a girl for help every time something goes wrong. You cannot call yourself a man yet.
