I always like this guy. He's got a big heart and wears it on his sleeve. He's a fan of the sport.

Well, I'm sure that a 5th place finisher values this medal
Not exactly Ron Clarke and Zatopek, that's for sure.
It's kind of sad that shallow people try to define a person based on one thing, etc labelling Mak as a doper. This shows he's has a good heart either way.

Makh looks downright fat for a top runner. At least 12-14%.
Probably more like 8% if you look through his insta pics.
He's got a bigger frame than a lot of the top 1500 guys and he clearly has a lot more muscle than most top 1500 guys, but he's not actually that big--it's just that we see him next to crazy skinny guys like Kiprop, Souleiman, etc. so often.
Note that in the 800 he did not look super big--about the same size as Murphy, maybe a tiny bit shorter with bulkier legs.

Who in this planet thinks a 5th place guy wants that medal from a different event? It's almost a taunt - "this medal means so little to me that I am giving it away and you can't earn one yourself, so here you go"

Exactly. I wouldn't want someone else's medal unless there was a darn good reason and story to justify it.
Mahkloufi looks like a seriously nice & gracious dude. I have no issue with him. He may be doping but he's super kind to people, a good sportsman, etc.

Well, the decathlete did win the 1500m portion
So win a 1500 race, get a 1500 medal, it sort of makes sense if you don't think about it too hard
He doesn't have a belly button

He in all seriousness might want to keep track of that medal just in case he needs to relinquish it back to the IOC....
you know what I'm sayin'.....
It is great to have friends like him. This decathlete must have been down after serving his two year suspension for Stanozolol doping.
I support Mak Daddy unconditionally because it's fun to do so. Therefore, I approve of this move.

he seems like such a nice guy honestly. Ever since 2012 he has had a smile on his face and has been respectful to his competitors. I like the guy, dont know why so much hate on here of him. If hes doped good chance Centro and Kiprop are too
The trolls who don't like him are just being petty.

Yes, he might need to trade it for the gold.
The Athletes are often more interested in how they performed than the hardware.
and is a much better athlete than any 1500 meter runner. That Algerian guy was very impressive in the Decathlon. Good for Makhloufi.

He was tested regularly the past couple of years, unlike EVERY OTHER KENYAN.
Yes, he does seem to have a good personality. However, the ziomedia has brainwashed Americans to hate all Middle Easterners to further the agenda of spending as much American money and using as many American soldiers as possible to do the bidding of our "only ally" in the Middle East - and those folks aren't really our allies at all.
