Why can't there be a rabbit in championship races?

The last 800 in the women's 1500 was quite respectable.

The last 800 was 3:40 pace. And it would medal in the open 800.

That's obscene, not respectable.

Just take the 1500m finalists and have them run an 800 if you liked it so much.

Rabbits for all is what it's called if you race to win.

As far as I can tell Rushida was the perfect Rabbit for the entire field to use.

At the end you still need to be faster than the front runner to win.... Rabbits or not!

It may be that one of those finalists sacrificed himself, although we don't know that for sure. If there was such an agreement, it was cheating and it was not fair. But, as I said, we can't be certain he was acting as a rabbit.
