She's run 2:01, 4:06, 32:21 and earlier in the season ran away with a senior grand prix 1500 so this performance is right in line with what you'd expect. Very impressive.
If she pulls out a sub 4, sub 8:30 or sub 14:40 then the world will take notice. She's a way off the truly great junior distance runners but nevertheless looks ready to develop to world class.
Looks like Konstanze will be racing in the 1500 against Efraimson. Based on PBs it seems there are a few other ladies that will be competitive. Looking forward to this race. On paper Alexa is the favourite but should be a great race.

From the pics, I'd say there's a good chance you're right.
It is a lot easier for a 23-year old "junior" to transition to racing other adults.

In other words, the U.S. has young talent but in the distances the talent is not close to world elite levels. The East African talent is already on the verge, but then it is not that young, and it is already or soon will be on the Rosa program.

Interesting that Klosterhalfen already has better PBs than Hasay. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next few years.

She is very tall and lanky, so it could just be her body type. Also, she's also only 19 and may not have fully developed yet.

Hopefully she is just naturally built this way and/or still developing. She is an amazing talent; her range from 800m-10000m is incredible for a junior. It will be great to see how she progresses at the senior level.

You don't run a 2:01 800 meters with an eating disorder. That requires power.
