im not sure the athletes would want to do that.they know semenya,niyonsaba and some others might not be really female,but theyre not male,either,and the fact is,they dont have penises.im all likelihood,they were raised as girls.also im pretty sure nobody blames semenya herself.she didnt have any choice as to who,or what she is.whether or not she should be competing against women,im not sure,but she has a vagina,and shes not a man.

As I posted in another thread, the problem in the women's 800m with Semenya and possibly Niyonsaba, is amplified by a terribly weak field of women in the 800m worldwide right now.
2:00 has become some kind of gold standard for women but it is not that fast. Even 1:58 is not elite quality. Elite women should have no problems running 1:56. Dibaba could run 1:54 if she could be bothered and she is a 1500/5k girl. 3:50 is about equivalent to 1:53.0.
Just to illustrate this fact. Comparing the world leading times from men to women from last year:
100m: 10.74 - 9.74 = 10.3%
200m: 21.63 - 19.55 = 10.6%
400m: 49.26 - 43.48 = 13.3% *
800m: 1:56.99 - 1:42.50 = 14.1%
1500m: 3:50.07 - 3:26.69 = 11.3%
3000m: 8:22.22 - 7:34.66 = 10.5%
5000m: 14:14 - 12:53.98 = 10.5%
*Consider that Allyson Felix actually ran a confirmed 47.72 400m relay leg so could likely run ~48.5 in the open 400m, bringing the difference down to 11.5%.
Hopefully you can all see the problem with the women's 800m. Semenya still has an advantage, but the current 800m 'elites' on the women's side are extremely weak. This year it seems the women's 800m is even worse as Eunice Sum is in bad shape and the next fastest female last year was Melissa Bishop in 1:57.52.
I haven't seen any other girls this year that look like they could break 1:57.
Get to the final. Agree to stand at the start line for 10 seconds after the gun is fired. The remaining runners go off and essentially run the same race they would be running had they gone off from the gun. Point made.
