Congrats to MA native and formell Cornell star Zach Hine - Top American at Boston Marathon

For a runner like Zach a 10th place performance at Boston is pretty darn good!...it is not mediocre....it is an excellent performance as there were tons of elite international guys there they he picked off...

He earned $4200 in prize money as well... I think he deserves more though.

I only brought up the SAT score and higher education because mentions of Cornell and judgements on his character were being made. I am impressed by intelligent people that also run ridiculously fast.

Since Rojo is also being criticized for silly typos (as always on here...typical petty criticisms - and i know it's mostly a joke from the grammar police but it's honestly just a waste of space on the forums IMO) note that he graduated Princeton with honors with a degree in Econ. And he's had great success in coaching and with this website i'd say.

Why do I "backside kiss" these guys? Because I consider them friends. I've lived/worked/trained with them for years and I know them as runners and as people. Friends stick up for each other.

Exactly. You have real relationships with real runners instead of hide behind a computer and slander people you've never met.

Zach is a great runner... especially for a non-professional that has a real job. Top 10 finish at Boston (even in a Trials year) is a pretty damn good accomplishment.

Hine is a beast! Congrats on a great race on a tough day and a well deserved top 10!

Big Congrats to Zach. Great that he is now allowed to leave the State. MP had it coming and glad that she is no longer in Boulder.

The thing is, Rojo's spelling and grammar errors aren't typos. Rojo honestly cannot spell at the level of a below average grade schooler and his grammar is atrocious. How do you consider "formell" for "former" a typo? The L is nowhere near the R on a keyboard. It isn't even on the same hand. And he typed L twice. Over the years, Rojo has sufficiently displayed that he has a complete inability to write in English. He has consistently shown that he cannot differentiate (there their they're), (are our), (its it's), (hear here), (where wear), and countless other examples.

It would be silly and petty and humorous if it weren't for the fact that Rojo wasted probably over half a million dollars on the fanciest prep schools and university. Money that he didn't earn, but came from hard working American tax payers through the decades long gravy train of his father's government jobs.

As I posted on another thread. Zach lined up and raced who was there. He lined up next to 8 guys who have run 2:05 or better. 13 total sub 2:10 18 2:13 or better.

I didn't go any further down the list and that was just a quick glance.

None of those dozen sub 2:10 guys could come within minutes of their PRs. Zach shouldn't have been 10th. Yet he was.

Our sport is about competing. Zach competed above his expected finish.

If you can't see this, you obviously are an internet troll with a grudge and ax to grind.
