So she ran the 2 mile in 12:19 w/ 20 mph winds and 40+ mph wind gusts. Her first mile was a 557 and well, her next mile in the 624 range as she was running alone and pretty much relaxed too much.
She said it felt pretty easy and so I had her go on a 52 min long run the next day. She ended up running it at 8:09 pace with some hills involved. Pretty evenly split and again, way too windy.
One of the above people said that they don't feel like they get warmed up till they get a few reps in, she agrees with this.
I think she's coming back. And for those who were scrutinizing me for having her do a 7 mile progression run, it was during her base phase and we did it to see where her fitness level was at. But thanks for the comments anyways.
