I wish we had them but being a runner with some janky ass ankles, I'm wary of most grasses surfaces just because I've been betrayed more than ones by some seemingly smooth surfaces.

As an American who migrated to good old Canberra 20 years ago grass tracks is what I primarily trained on. Once doing a 4 mile fartlek session in 19:23 the benefits of training grass where significant. Less muscle damage and quicker recovery time. For those that don't know how fast a grass track can be Peter Snell ran 1:44.3 on grass in 1962. By the way no Australian has ever run that fast.

Im from Sydney. Ive got 1 weel maintained well marked out grass track in my suburb. Another 2 well maintained grass tracks in the same suburb 2-3 suburbs over from me.
All have lights are are well maintained.
Ben St Lawrence is a beast. He used to run for st george athletics. Now im not sure whcih club he is in.
He normally trains around centennial park in Sydney.
