- Run at Forest Park, you don't have to park at the Lief Erickson trail head theres lots of places to get access that will be less busy if you just look at Google Maps.
- Drink Beer: Too many to recommend, Yelp and sort by rating and just pick one. you won't really be disappointed by any of them.
- Salt & Straw, Stumptown Coffee .... do that.
- Burgerville > In N Out if you need a fast food craving fixed

Other stuff to do depends on your interests. As much as people like to bash Portland, they bash everything here. I've found that Portland has something for everyone and most people leave you alone about it, unlike most places in Texas where many will judge you, etc. That even goes for running. (TX example, I was "asking for it" by running in a sports bra in 95 degree weather).

Forest Park is overrated as a running destination. Hard to get to from downtown without car. Overall thought Portland was an overrated running location. Running along the river is ok but there's also lots of bums.
Columbia River Gorge totally worth it.
Get in a really long run and then treat yourself with Tilt Burger. Huge calorie monsters that are super worth it.
Go to a theater performance. Portland Center Stage has some really cool shows going on.
Agreed with the other posters on Powell's, Salt and Straw, and Portland being and overrated running location.
Go to voodoo donuts, despite what letsrunners say, you won't regret it, even if its a little busy. Hint: its busy because its good.

Salt and Straw is the new place the local news hypes ALL the time. It used to be Voodoo donuts, followed by Pok Pok. Now it is the Salt and Straw. The local news loves to hype places and Salt and Straw is hyped practically daily.
I've never heard of Blue Star so it must be decent based on organic reviews.
