Basically a clueless jogger lipping off to an elite Canadian female.

His 5k time seems decent but he lagged in the half and especially the full. With better coaching he could go sub-3 hrs in the marathon. Wodak has run a 2:36 marathon. She's elite.

Definitely worth a listen, especially when she goes into detail regarding Cheat River athletes receiving points for head to head competition. Problem is Canadians are too polite and very few have the guts to stand up against this kind of corruption.

Agreed that she deserves the support, but Natasha was actually 2nd Canadian at 2015 Worlds:

You're right South Detroit. I got that wrong. Maybe the people making the carding decisions could admit they are wrong too and fund Natasha. Lanni is a great runner to be sure. So is Tash. A travesty not to fund the National record holder who is going to the Olympics.

The Athletics Canada committee, which includes Guelph coach Dave Scott Thomas, carded 5(!) 800m women who don't have Olympic standard, along with 2 that have standard. But they only carded 1 of the 2 10,000m women who have Olympic standard.

I guess, joke's on us haters when Canada puts 7 women in the 800m final later this year.
