You seriously think that Garrett Heath was listening to the BBC tv coverage in advance of the race? Or that he thinks that he should get more coverage in Britain than the eight-time British world and Olympic medalist? What he does think is that he owns this cross country race in savage Scottish conditions and he does.

Heath could be considered one of the great short course XC runners of all-time if we were still in the years of the 4km race at IAAF World's. He most definitely is a beast on these short, muddy, hilly courses. Very strong. Very planted and powerful. Dude is a Polaris.
And....Danny Mackey is coaching Heath with the Brooks Beasts. Mackey is far and away the most successful coach who does not get the respect he deserves.

Whereas what was really happening is that the two Americans worked together to stretch him in the last k, whereupon Heath, the bigger and stronger athlete was able to put in a surge up the last hill that Farah couldn't cover.
Not sure about that, pretty sure I heard Crammy saying Farah looks ragged and not very comfortable.
